Shipley One’s
The Problem:
Shipley Do-Nuts wanted a fun and attention-grabbing way to engage fans and drive sales during a key promotional period. The goal was
to create something unexpected that would generate buzz, celebrate the brand’s playful spirit, and connect with both loyal customers and new audiences.
The Solution:
To bring that energy to life, our team concepted a giveaway centered around a custom, one-of-a-kind sneaker: The Shipley One’s. Partnering with a well-known shoe designer in San Antonio, we reimagined the iconic Nike silhouette through the lens of Shipley’s brand personality. Taking creative direction from Ken Matsubara and Bobby Pfeiffenberger, I illustrated the signature donut graphic featured on the tongue of the shoe, developed the playful pattern work, and explored color combinations that reflected Shipley’s fun, craveable identity. The result was a bold, buzzworthy campaign that blended streetwear culture with sweet brand storytelling—driving excitement and engagement across social channels.

My Role
I illustrated the sprinkle pattern and donut graphic featured on the shoe tongue, explored color options, and handcrafted a custom greeting card for the winner. I also updated the shoe box by designing and applying handmade decals, adding a personalized, artisanal touch to the final presentation.
